¡Merry Christmas! We’re looking forward to celebrating the Christmas holidays with all of you! To enjoy these dates even more, we open volume 4 our recipe book with Manchego Cheese. Prepare the ingredients, without forgetting our Manchego Cheese.
Meatballs stuffed with Manchego Cheese
We inaugurate our special Christmas menu with delicious and simple meatballs with Manchego Cheese. They are ideal for an initial snack and opening your mouth for the main dishes.
INGREDIENTS (for 4 persons):
600 gr. minced meat (chicken, turkey, pork, … your choice).
We preheat the oven to 180 degrees with heat up and down. Meanwhile, we peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.

We put the eggs in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, add nutmeg to taste and add the cream. We beat until everything is well mixed.
Time to grease the mold with oil.
To elaborate the layers! We place two layers of potatoes and sprinkle them with salt. Next, half the onion, the bacon and part of the Manchego Cheese D.O.P. Ariscado Cured.
We spread the cream of eggs and cream. And we put back a layer of potatoes, the remaining onion, the bacon and the cheese. Then, we cover with more egg cream and cream.
We place the last layer of potatoes and add the rest of the cream that remains.
We grate a little of our Manchego Cheese and spread it on top.
Time to bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees. We put it covered with aluminum foil. Then, we remove the paper and let it brown for another 20 minutes. As advice, if you are clicking with a knife and you notice that it enters without difficulty, we will have it ready.
Beef steak in Manchego Cheese sauce
Second course turn. This time, the Manchego Cheese is the ideal accompaniment to a delicious beef steak. A delicious taste and they complement each other perfectly.
Next, in a container we put the milk, the eggs and the Manchego Cheese. We mix it with the mixer for a few minutes and pour the liquid into a container for the oven.
Time to bake it at 160 degrees for 15 minutes. We are checking its cooking status by clicking on the cake.
Next, we let it cool down and cut it into portions. We add a piece of quince paste and a little honey, to taste. A super delicious dessert.
